Guru Purnima is the day to offer salutations to the gurus for they are the ones who nurture students, prepping them to take on the onerous task of steering our country in future time.
Every year in the month of Ashadh Guru Purnima is celebrated in Rishi Gurukulam in remembrance of Pujya Guruji Rishi Prabhakarji. In keeping with the tradition Shlokas and Bhajans were sung to the tune of The Singing Team of Gurukulam. Students touched the teacher’s feet to receive blessings.
Pooja and aarti were performed to revere Pujya Guruji. Distribution of Prasad and South Indian delicacies were served on banana leaves for lunch.
