The arrival of Festival in Rishi Gurukulam is unique with Pre-Primary kids making their own ‘Ganapatibappa’ moulded in clay assisted by their creative teachers.

Kids adorned in festive attire danced and took out a small procession in the campus crying out “Ganpati Bappa Morya …..Mangal Moorti Morya….”
In the evening all the students and teachers gathered together to welcome our new guest- Ganeshji for His presence with Aarti and distribution of sweets.
A ‘Bhajan Sandhya’ consisting of ‘slokas’ about Lord Ganesha followed by pooja.
Children engaged themselves in making Ganesha’s favorite sweet- ‘ Modak’.
All danced to the tune praising Lord Ganesh and after the ten-day festivity came to an end with students submerging the idols of Ganesha in the village pond urging him to return next year.
