BEST OUT OF WASTE is a craft which follows environmental friendly principle and at the same time creates useful and picturesque objects out of waste products. ‘Best out of Waste’ competition was organized in Rishigurulam on 8 December 2018 form students of all Houses, and categorized into three sub- divisions – 1 to 4, 5 to 7 and 8 to 10.

Little hands and imaginative minds came together in a creative burst of energy. Mind-blowing, beyond expectation, fantabulous ideas were demonstrated by students. They prepared very creative and innovative models and art items from different waste materials . They used reusable and recyclable materials like news papers, shoe boxes, CDs, tyres, bottles, old torn and worn-out clothes, old suitcase, dish antenna and much more. From these items, they created an amazing array of display items which is useful in everyday objects, leaving everyone totally impressed as you can see in the pictures.

It helped the students to develop their fine motor skills. It was amazing to see how scrap could be transformed into such useful and beautiful articles. The creativity and artistic streak of the children were observed.
The most significant part in this competition was ‘ Team work and Hard work’

All were winners in this competition, with few margins apart, consequently Akaash and Agni topped with first and second position followed by Prithvi and Vayu .

They were remarkable for their skills and dexterity, and for their great readiness of resource. This is what Guruji wanted to inculcate in our students and make them entrepreneurs and leaders.
